Meet the Team

  

Jodi DeVincentis, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Jodi is owner and president of PRO Physical Therapy, LLC. She received her BS in physical therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1992. She then returned to UMDNJ and completed her post-professional doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) in 2007, and also received an award of academic distinction and graduated with highest honors. Jodi is board certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in physical therapy. Since becoming a licensed physical therapist, she has been affiliated with several universities as a clinical instructor and clinical site coordinator. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has worked with many athletes and sports teams, including international and national elite-level gymnasts. In her free time Jodi participates and coaches soccer and softball.

  
  

Alex Banhon, PTA, Cert. MDT, CSCS

Alex has been practicing physical therapy since 1997. He received his AS in Physical Therapy Assistant from Fairleigh Dickinson University with clinical honors and then received his BA in Caldwell College. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In addition to a variety of continuing education classes, Alex is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the spine (the McKenzie Method). He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has worked with many athletes and sports teams, including international and national elite-level gymnasts.

  
  

Thomas Kraus, PT, DPT, OCS

Thomas has received his doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University at Buffalo.  He is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association.  Thomas completed his doctoral thesis on spinal manipulation and continues to have a interest in the treatment of the spine.  Currently Thomas is enrolled in the Stanley Paris post professional Spinal Manipulation program thru St. Augustine University, FL.  Thomas has thorough exposure to Gary Gray, Shirley Sharhmann, Robin McKenzie, amongst other pioneering Physical Therapists adding flair to his therapeutic approach.  Personal interests include baseball, soccer, and swimming, along with competing in triathlons.

   
  

Jennifer Bua, PT, MSPT

Jen received her BS in Biology from The College of New Jersey in 1996 where she graduated with honors. She attained her Masters in Physical Therapy from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1999. Jen has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics for the past ten years. She joined the Pro PT staff as a part-time therapist in 2003.

   
  

Nina Rimarenko, CSCS

Nina received her BS in Exercise Sciense from William Paterson University of New Jersey in 2009.  During her time there she completed an internship in cardiac rehab at Hackensack University Medical Center encouraging her to persue oppertunities to work with such individuals.  Nina has enjoyed working at PRO Physical Therapy as an aide since 2006.  Working here she has been exposed to a diverse clientel from the athlete to older adult.  She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is a certified instructor of the Sportsmetrics knee injury prevention program.

  

 

  

Cathy Basile, B.S., A. F.S.

Cathy is a Certified Advanced Fitness Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  She has worked as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Consultant for more than ten years, with a variety of clients including, adolescents, seniors, novice exercisers, competitive athletes, as well as individuals looking to improve their health. Cathy specializes in designing preventative and post-rehabilitative exercise programs for those with orthopedic, pulmonary, cardiovascular or metabolic conditions.  In 2009 Cathy received her pro card in both the World Natural Body Building Federation (WNBF) and International Fitness and Physique Association (IFPA).  She is presently a national competitor in the Masters, Figure and Ms. Fit Body divisions.  Cathy has also received certification with Resist-a-Ball Core Instructor-Resist-A-Ball Inc., and has Group Fitness Instructor-BOSU Integrated Balance Training Certification.
